The next stop on the England tour, in fact the first one of the year, is Copenhagen for this friendly against Denmark.
How useful, or not, will it be though?
Is this going to be another 'worthless friendly' or can we actually gain something from this to make the trip to Denmark worthwhile?
I doubt that many England fans, the male ones anyway, will be complaining as I am sure they are lapping up seeing the Scandinavian ladies though!
Thomas Sorensen, Daniel Agger, Christian Poulsen, Dennis Rommedahl and Nicklas Bendtner are all familiar to many of us having played in England, most still are, over the years.
Possible XI, well according to sky sports: Sorensen, Jacobsen, Agger, Kjaer, S.Poulsen, Rommedahl, C.Poulsen, Kvist, Eriksen, Pedersen, Bendtner.
Denmark have a rising star in the 18-year-old, already being linked with 'the big time' and a move to the premier league. Eriksen v Wilshere is something that many previews are saying will be the highlight of this game?
When the players that are not available are taken into account not much, bar the inclusion from the off of Jack Wilshere, will change from 'usual' really. At least from the start...
Darren Bent is going to be paired with Wayne Rooney, with the Villa man being given a chance to stake his claim for a regular starting spot.
Possible XI, well according to sky sports: Hart, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, A.Cole, Walcott, Lampard, Wilshere, Milner, Bent, Rooney.
The Arsenal man has been spoken about a fair amount in the build-up to this game. Will the hype see an anti climax? Is too much pressure being put on the teenager or have we actually found a new star of our midfield for the long-term future...
The last time we played in Denmark I believe that we were spanked, 4-1 was it back in 2005?
England have won 10 of the 17 meetings with Denmark recording 2 wins, including that 2005 one. The other 5 have been drawn.
England, at 6th, are currently higher than Denmark in 27th, in the FIFA world rankings.
Jonas Eriksson (Sweden).
As with any friendly the result, in many ways, is not the important part - a performance with some new things tried, and gained, is what is required. Of course getting a result is always good and coming away from Copenhagen with a win would be a morale booster.
Wales, at The Millennium Stadium, are next up in March 2011 as Euro qualifying carries on.
