Yet Again Sepp Blatter Is Simply Wrong

Former FIFA president, Sepp Blatter believes no country should boycott this year's World Cup in Russia, even though several football federations are threatening to do otherwise.
Football has up to 2 billion followers. FIFA-World Cup 2018 in Russia: The most important sportevent in the world. Therefore no boycott! Let`s play the game in peace and for peace! #Fifa #Russia #FIFAWorldCup #Uefa

Everyone knows about the nerve agent poisoning in Salisbury last month, however, no matter what Russia says to the contrary scientists at the secret Nuclear, Biological and Chemical centre at Porton Down claim they have the proof to firmly point the finger at Russia.

Sports and politics should always be kept apart however, Olympic boycotts have taken place before (Russia, USA, North Korea etc.) and with several countries coming out in solidarity with the UK I really do think it's about time the West gave Russia a bloody nose by staying at home in the summer.
#Zakharova: A country leaving the #EU is exploiting the factor of solidarity and forcing the remaining countries to spoil relations with #Russia…The one them all and all under the one - a new slogan given by #London to #Brussels. pic.twitter.com/VxDtX0GDGd

Six countries planning state boycotts
Poland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Australia and Japan are all expected to decline invitations from Russia in a move of solidarity with Theresa May, with more countries expected to follow suit.
Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, was the first leader to stand with the UK after declaring his refusal to attend the sporting event's opening ceremony on June 14.
The UK has already stated that no Royals or other high ranking officials will attend Putin's country during the tournament.

As the world edges ever closer to another Cold War I really do hope the English FA wake up, smell the coffee and agree to stay well away.
