We're Going To Hear A Lot Of This
WORLD CUP 2018: Any England fan intending to travel to Russia this year need their head examining.
With only 99 days until the competition begins reports from certain media outlets have begun to publish stories about the potential for Russian fan thuggery (not exactly a new story there then), fans being herded and pinned into fan zone areas against their will...I'm sure you get the picture.
But that's not all. No! The Russian police are known to be brutal and if provoked, not that it will take a lot, foreign fans in high spirits can expect to have batons shoved up their behinds (for no apparent reason), teargas shot into areas where thousands of noisy and boisterous supporters congregate. AND, just imagine being put behind bars, god forbid!

I don't want to sound as if I'm a scaremonger but, if you ARE travelling to Russia and if you have an ounce of sense may I suggest you keep your head low, stay out of trouble and avoid being provoked by the Russian Ultras.
You have been warned.
