Spurs Midfielder Ali Ruled Out Of England Clashes

Tottenham midfielder Dele Ali has been ruled out foe England's up coming friendlies.

England are due to play two games at Wembley, first they host Germany on Friday night and then Brazil arrive on Tuesday night. Ali was selected in Gareth Southgate's 25 man squad but has now pulled after picking up an injury in Tottenham's impressive 3-1 victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League at Wembley.

Ali was not selected in Tottenham's Sunday's Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury, although Mauricio Pochettino said the 21-year-old's injury was not serious.

Alli`s absence means Southgate now has 24 players for the Wembley games and will be hoping for no more withdrawals after Sunday`s Premier League matches.
