Three New Faces In The England Squad
Gareth Southgate has announced his squad to face Germany and Brazil in International Friendlies next week.
He has named three uncapped players for the games that will take place on November 10th and November 14th. The new faces are 20 year Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham who is currently on loan at Swansea City after a successful spell at Championship side Bristol City last season. 20 year old Joe Gomez who has been a regular in the Liverpool side, he prefers to play as a centre back but can also play as a full back and 21 year old Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek who has made seven appearances whilst on loan Crystal Palace this season.
There is no place in the squad for Liverpool's Daniel Sturidge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, whilst Manchester United's Chris Smalling also misses out. There is a recall for midfielder Ashley Young who last played for his Country over four years ago.
