England manager, Mark Sampson

'We're very pleased with the performance and the result. Respect to Scotland, they caused some problems with physicality. They can still qualify from this group, they have quality.

'It's pleasing to keep a clean sheet. The most important part was to see them enjoying and thriving in such difficult conditions.

'The bigger the occasion, the bigger the pressure. We have to get our heads on Spain. We need to be ready for that challenge on Sunday. We'll review this game tomorrow. The team were very efficient from back to front. For every chance we created, we usually got a shot on goal.'
