Podcast: Fan Action, FA Trophy, FA Vase & More

There are many reasons why I decided to run Vital England, one of which is that I can cover just about anything that may concern the English Football Association.

My main aim will of course be to focus my attention on the international scene, including the men's and ladies competitions, U21s, U20s, U18s - I'm sure you get my drift. However there will be many of you, including yours truly who keeps half an eye on the non-league scene.

Broadcast on Friday 17 March 2017 (St Patricks Day don't you know) the team over at 'The Pitchero Non-League Show' asks...

How far would you go to make your voice heard at your club?

Caroline Barker, Dave Anderson and Dave Watters hear from the national league fans at Altrincham walking out in protest. Plus who`s on their way to Wembley?

Its semi-final second legs as the team check in with the FA Vase and the FA Trophy as they talk to Cleethorpes Town secretary Matt Jones who also has a new role pending and York City boss Gary Mills who potentially has a cup shock pending. Plus Keith McMahon returns to the show to talk about Thamesmead Town's announcement of a new era away from Bayliss Avenue.

If this sort of material floats your boat then we may do something similar in the future.

Lukas Podolski may have stolen the show but it was the first time since before the World Cup tournament in South Africa that I can say I actually enjoyed watching England.
