Colback Misses His Chance

Unfortunately for Jack Colback the Newcastle man will miss out on his chance of making his England debut tonight.

Colback, who of course crossed the Sunderland-Newcastle divide in the summer when he made a free transfer move, was one of the four uncapped players named in Roy Hodgson's squad for the game with Norway tonight and the Euro 2016 qualifier with Switzerland at the weekend.

He has struggled with an injury all week and this 'minor injury' sustained in the weekend draw with Crystal Palace has denied him his chance of a debut.

The midfielder would not have started tonight but would have, I suspect, had every chance of getting on...
