Four Uncapped Players In England Squad
Jack Colback, Calum Chambers, Danny Rose and Fabian Delph are the new faced in the England squad for a friendly and opening Euro 2016 qualifier.
Roy Hodgson has again showed that he is willing to make changes to his squad as his first one since the world cup has seen no fewer than 4 uncapped players included in his 22-man squad for the friendly with Norway and Euro qualifier with Switzerland.
Following his summer switch from Sunderland to Newcastle, and a very impressive debut for his new club, Colback was given a call.
Another that was on the move this summer was Chambers, the former Southampton man has started life impressively with Arsenal since his arrival and this has seen him bypass the U21's, which he hoped for involvement in this season, and go directly into the senior squad.
Rose has been around for a while but until now Spurs' former U21 man had not made the step-up.
The final new face is Aston Villa's Delph, who has always threatened to make the step up but never quite managed this having initially struggled - it seemed - to adapt to life with Villa following a move from Leeds as a much younger player, he is still young mind!
Andros Townsend return after injury with John Stones also involved having been on standby for the world cup and winning his first cap in the world cup warm-up games.
The new captain was also named, unsurprisingly as Wayne Rooney...
