Womens U20 World Cup - England 1-1 South Korea

England opened with a draw in this summer's Women's U20 World Cup yesterday.

The Asian champions had taken the lead in the Group C game through a 15 minute penalty, but Martha Harris restored parity with a well deserved equaliser on 68 minutes.

England had two good chances to take victory following the equaliser through Beth Meade, and Katie Zelem and Nikita Parris both rattled the woodwork as well, so we can consider ourselves somewhat unlucky not to have taken all the points but we did take plenty of positives.
