Nordic - Defeat In Final Group Game

Nordic - Defeat In Final Group Game

England U17s suffered defeat in the final group game of the Nordic Tournament against Sweden.

It was an extremely close encounter and England can consider themselves very unfortunate, but a blistering start from our opponents saw the team two goals down inside of the opening 15 minutes, and the full time score of three nil does not really do the game justice in terms of how good and close an encounter it was.

Head coach Dan Micciche would certainly have been bouyed by the response of the team after going two goals down though, but we were certainly punished for an unexpectedly bad start to the game.

Again on the positive side though, England did have chances to have evened the scoreline somewhat, so there's lessons to learn there as well.
