U21s - September Qualifiers Set

U21s - September Qualifiers Set

England's U21s have already qualified for the coming European Championships given their form and results in the group stage so far, but our September end to the qualifiers has now been set.

We face trips to Kaunas and Tiraspol for a double header against Lithuania and Moldova to close out Group 1.

Lithuania host us on Friday September 5 at the Dariaus Ir Gireno Stadium in Kuanas, with kick off coming at 5pm BST.

When then head further East to face the Moldovans at the Sheriff Sports Complex in Tiraspol on Tuesday September 9, with a 4.30pm kick off.

With England topping Group 1 and already assured of qualification, once these two games are out of the way the draw for the play offs will then take place where the ten group winners, and the four best runners up will be drawn against each other for a two legged affair to be held in October.

The seven remaining winners will join host nation Czech Republic at the finals next June.
