Has It REALLY Come To That

Has It REALLY Come To That

England might have gone out of the world cup early, very early in fact, but did our exit really require our fans to not only go and watch Germany but support them too!

When I say 'very early' the reality maybe is that it was not as early as some though, as few expected much, right?

Although after the event, in typical fashion, the cries for such a poor showing rang out.

Anyway, back to this point as I do digress. Pictures have emerged this weekend of fans wearing England shirts with German flags painted on their faces - holding a banner that read something like 'look what you've done to us Roy!'

By all means go to another world cup game, any world cup game, but does an England fan really have to show that type of support to Germany, or any other national side?

Perhaps it was a bit tongue in cheek but sometimes you can go too far, Winston Churchill would be turning in his grave...
