'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Nothing New For Cahill

It goes without saying that we will very much be challenged by virtually every attack that we face at the world cup this summer, but Gary Cahill is not overly phased.

In particular, as far as the group stages go first, Cahill has plenty of previous of facing Luis Suarez and Mario Balotelli with him today telling the Mirror that he thinks facing the likes of these two, and others, at club level 'certainly helps'.

When it is someone 'unknown' that makes for a tougher challenge, and he knows that too.

At the end of the day when you play at international level you should be up to the challenge ahead of you, known or unknown and as much as our defence is commonly thought to be 'a little suspect' I would hope that we can defend well enough to give ourselves a chance.

I still feel that 'attack is our best form of defence' in Brazil mind!
