England's Final Prep Confirmed

England's Final Prep Confirmed

The final friendlies, as part of England's preparations for the world cup next summer have been confirmed today.

Friendlies with Peru, Ecuador and Honduras were expected anyway, but now we know that they have been 100% officially confirmed by the FA.

The anticipated final Wembley friendly with Peru will take place on May 30th, which will actually be the first time England have ever met Peru.

Ecuador and Honduras will be played in Miami on June 4th and 7th respectively.

Roy Hodgson is expected to have his provisional 30-man squad named, and being used, for the Peru game with him cutting 7 from this party following the game, and before the Three Lions fly out to America for the final friendlies, and preparations ahead of Brazil.

I think that we have made some decent, and logical decisions, by going for these nations that should provide us with a good test and give us a little taste of what we can expect against some of our opponents at the world cup.

what counts now is the intensity of these games and how seriously the opposition will take them. with so many non event competitive games in qualifiers, fans and the team, need to have quality friendlies that are worth watching and worth playing in if you are a professional

as long as any team has decent quality and comes to be competitive, as opposed to having an end of season jolly, it has to be considered a positive
