England opponents name new boss

One of England's world cup qualifying opponents have named their new manager...

The football federation of Ukraine have opted for Mikhail Fomenko as successor to Oleg Blokhin after the FFU 'unanimously agreed' that he was the right choice.

Whilst I would be surprised had he taken up the offer, it was widely reported that Harry Redknapp - heavily tipped for the England job before Roy Hodgson - was the number one target and was close to taking the job, which he would have had QPR not acted quick to get him instead?

A change in manager often, but not always, can mean an upturn in fortunes so the Ukraine could become a very dangerous threat to the rest of this group in 2013 now...
