100 up...almost?
Even though it was thought that Steven Gerrard would be left out of the friendly with Sweden this week the Liverpool man was included.
As such you would have imagined that the England captain would start?
Should he do that, or be involved at all, he will join a select few England players to win 100-caps as that would prove to be his 100th for his country.
Hodgson has great respect for Swedish football, his decision to include his captain tends to back that he wanted to send as strong a squad - as well as brining in a few new faces - for the opening of their new 50,000 stadium capacity Friends Arena stadium.
Following the weekend games though it has been 'hinted' that Gerrard might have picked up a knee injury for Liverpool at Chelsea on Sunday, so his 100th cap will possibly have to wait...
