Hefty bans!
Dishing out 'fines' to players, clubs or national football associations/federations is not the way to deal with the unacceptable really is it?
Monetary fines, given the riches in football these days, is not the way forward...
The right thing to do is to ban those that cross the line in terms of suspension from participation in a game that they should love to be involved with, so that should hurt them more!
Following the racism that Danny Rose - who was sent off for his reaction - was subjected to in Serbia recently, when the England U21s sealed their place at the Euro U21 finals next summer, punishments from the Serbian FSS have been dished out.
U21 international Nikola Ninkovic and Ognjen Mudrinski have been banned from all national teams for a year, with staff members Srdjan Maksimovic and Andreja Milutinovic being suspended for 2-year.
You could argue that this could have possibly been extended to club level, but this is most definitely the least that they deserve!
