Running the risk

Finally England players will have to 'conduct' themselves better with a new 'code of conduct' coming into place.

All the time, for me, that players are simply 'fined' little will change in the game...

The modern day footballer has an absolutely fortune to play with, so the fines that are handed out are usually 'pocket change' to most of them so if you start suspended them perhaps this will change the way the act, and what they will and will not come out with these days.

A few of the modern day footballers are not even that bothered about playing football, but most that represent England - you would hope - are, so if they are prevented from playing this would hurt them more than a monetary fine.

On the other hand you might see a player 'throw his toys out of his pram' should he be suspended from international duty, if they do that then so be it, again they are not the types of players that I feel I want to see representing The Three Lions.

Lets hope that finally a code of conduct will see players acting the right way and proving they really do value playing for England...
