'If It's Football, It's Vital'

So; who do we fancy?

We have now seen every nation perform at Euro 2012, at least once.

To be honest, and fair, it is often hard to judge a team after the first round of group games as these can often be nervy, cagey affairs with both sides usually terrified of losing!

Even so who has been the stand-out side for you at Euro 2012 so far?

Like them or loathe them the German's do, well what Germany do and looked ok in their opening game. Poland had their moments, but then you could argue so did Greece in that 2nd half against the co-hosts.

For a spell Ukraine looked top class and even the Czech's, in a 4-1 defeat, looked ok.

Italy and Spain has their moments but they did not look anything that special, nor did Holland who were beaten by a well organised and disciplined Danish side.

Lets not forget England. Hardly world beaters but I thought, all national patriotism and bias aside, we looked alright and had scope to grow with us being as good as most really.

Although given their slick attacking play, and on the whole decent defending, even though I might base this on two games subconsciously, even after their first game Russia looked the team to beat.

Without a doubt the Poland - Russia game on Tuesday night was the game of the tournament so far, although that was both countries second game!

Go on then guys who has, in your opinion, looked like the nation to beat so far?

Germany look the best of the bunch so far, and I dont think we wil be able to judge Spain until they enter the last 8 and play one of the top teams, though obviously Italy and Croatia are hadrly mugs. I have been very impressed with Russia, but thought they looked vulnerable when put on the back foot against Poland, is this a clue how to best play them and perhaps they are not on a par with the likes of Germany or Spain
